Why we should be thankful to God when Praying?

What is Prayer?

Prayer is a communication between God and man. It is required as a duty to all believes to pray always to God for that is the only way to commune with God Almighty.

Why Do We Pray?

We pray therefore because we stand in continual need of God, we are surrounded with temptations continually , we are exposed to trouble and affliction continually and thus pray for Mercy and forgiveness, and if so, we must pray continually.

Why we should be thankful to God when Praying?

When Afflicted, we are to be thankful for the expected deliverance; when tempted, we are to be thankful that God will not leave us to be tempted above what we are able; when we fall into sin, there is cause to ask for Mercy through prayer, and thank Him that we did not die in our sin: thus are we in everything to give thanks through prayer.

1Thes.5:17-18 says, “Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus Concerning us.

A Prayerful Christian is a Powerful Christian

It is the will of God that we come always to Him with our petitions and without observing the time. A Prayerful Christian is a Powerful Christian. When you refuse to come to your Creator with your supplication, your supply from Him will cease.

James 5:17-18 says, ” Elisa was a man subject to like passions as we are. And he prayed earnestly that it will might not rain: and it rained not on Earth by the space of three years and six months 18, And he prayed again, and the Earth brought forth her fruits”

Praying Makes you to be Great

All the great men in the Bible became great throu prayer and above all our Master taught us how to pray in order to have unspeakable joy in life.
